This as yet untitled series of work was begun last year (2018) and examines grief and loss. It focuses on the human form as disconnected from any sense of individuality, especially the chest and the space where the heart resides. I am drawing heavily on past work where I dissected and abstracted the body so that form disappeared into emotion. In this series, form remains solid, yet anonymous.
